Tom Enzy, real name José Coelho, is a multi-platinum selling producer and DJ with a reputation for releasing infectious tech house hits. Success in the modern music industry is often measured by streaming figures, an area that the Portuguese artist’s output has performed incredibly well in. Enzy’s original tracks, remixes and productions have racked up over 100 million streams on Spotify alone, and he boasts over 2 million monthly listeners.

Every artist has an origins story, and Tom’s begins in his native Portugal at the age of five years old. His passion for music was ignited through his older brother, and he started DJing at the tender age of just eight years old! His chops on the decks caught the attention of Dance Club magazine, who ran an editorial piece on “The Youngest DJ in the World” at the time. Since then, the talented artist has honed his craft to perfection, creating a body of work that can’t be ignored.

Major labels like Sony, Universal, Warner, Insomniac, Selected and Spinnin’ Records have all played home to a Tom Enzy release at one point or another, and he has worked with global music titans like Alok, Rick Ross, Pitbull, and Bob Sinclar. All that work in the studio paid off in spades, in the form of huge sets at festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Secret Garden and Viva Fest.

Named as one of the top 150 DJs in the world by DJ Mag in 2019, the last few years have been particularly fruitful for Enzy. His success on streaming platforms saw him named as the number one streamed artist in Portugal for two years running, as well as an MTV EMA award for Best Act. ‘In Your Bed’ was just one of a string of singles with Soave Records in 2021, which easily hurtled past the one million streams landmark.

In 2022, Tom co-wrote the smash hit ‘In the Dark’ with Purple Disco Machine and Sophie & The Giants, which reached the Billboard Top 10, topped the European Airplay Chart and peaked at number one on the Global Dance Chart. With so much traction and forward momentum at this stage in his career, it’s clear that Tom Enzy is an artist who is truly at the top of his game.
